Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students represent countries, debate global issues, and negotiate real-world solutions. By debating from the perspective from a different UN member states, students broaden their horizon and learn valuable skills in public speaking, international relations and diplomacy.
Our bi-weekly Mock Sessions recreate the energy of a real UN debate in a friendly, local setting. You’ll practice speeches, learn procedure, and represent different countries on current global topics. Perfect for beginners and returning delegates alike, open to members and outsiders. Above you can find all the relevant information for the session, uploaded the weekend before. Sign up in advance to reserve a country or just show up!
Every other Wednesday, 17-19 at CBS SP. Beginner Intro starting at 16:45!
The Academy is our internal training programme where members learn how to research, write position papers, draft resolutions, and debate effectively to attend conferences like CBSMUN at CBS, or international conferences abroad.
It combines short workshops, practice sessions, and mentorship to help everyone grow into confident delegates.
Starting Spring 2026, Academy will be open to anyone interested in going to conferences or learning more about MUN.
Each semester, CBSUN selects a delegation to represent Copenhagen Business School at international MUN conferences, within Europe and abroad.
Delegates gain real-world experience, build international networks, and represent CBSUN at these prestigious events.
Delegations usually include travel to the location plus a mix of corporate visits, embassy talks and tours, engagements with NGOs and international organizations, as well as time to explore and experience the destination itself.
We traditionally attend two European conferences in the autumn semester. In the spring term, we send a delegation to the prestigious National MUN in New York City, plus organize our home delegation for CBSMUN.
The National Model United Nations (NMUN) is the world's largest and most prestigious university-level MUN conference, bringing together thousands of delegates from over 120 countries.
Representing CBS at NMUN is the defining experience of the CBSUN year and a tradition we have proudly maintained for years.
Taking place each year at the beginning of April, delegates debate in authentic UN-style committees, with parts of the conference taking place inside the United Nations Headquarters itself.
The trip spans 10 to 14 days in total, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the city, connect with peers from across the globe, and build a network that lasts well beyond the conference.
Our delegation trips are a unique opportunity for collaboration with corporations, non-governmental organizations, and embassies. Support can range from hosting our delegates for a visit or co-organizing an event on location, to larger sponsorships that help make these experiences affordable for CBS students. We would love to hear from you!
