HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
CBS United Nations and CBS Model United Nations share the same roots and mission: to bring the United Nations experience to Copenhagen Business School and inspire students to engage with global issues through diplomacy and debate.
While we work closely together, each organization plays a distinct role within the broader MUN community at CBS.
CBSUN - THE UN SOCIETY AT CBS
CBS United Nations (CBSUN) is a student organization at Copenhagen Business School that operates throughout the academic year. We host events, mock sessions, trainings, and social gatherings that help students develop as delegates and global thinkers.
Our members come from across disciplines and universities, and joining CBSUN is completely free and open to everyone.
CBSUN focuses on:
Building an inclusive student community
Organising regular Mock MUN sessions and the CBSUN Academy training series
Sending delegations to international MUN conferences abroad (e.g. NMUN, IEUMUN, SGMUN)
Supporting CBSMUN with outreach, preparation, and volunteer participation
CBSMUN - THE CONFERENCE HOSTED AT CBS
CBSMUN is the annual international MUN conference held at Copenhagen Business School, bringing together students from across Europe and beyond for a four-day simulation of the United Nations. It is independently organized by its own conference team. The 2026 edition will take place March 12-15!
Each year, CBSMUN welcomes hundreds of delegates for:
Engaging committee debates on global topics
Socials such as Networking events, City Tours, Parties & Galas
Keynote speakers and Workshops
While CBSMUN is a separate organization, it began as a project initiated by CBS United Nations and remains closely connected through shared members, goals, and collaboration.
OUR ONGOING PARTNERSHIP
CBSUN and CBSMUN maintain a formal partnership that ensures long-term cooperation and community continuity:
CBSMUN holds a seat on the CBSUN Board, ensuring coordination between the society and the conference.
CBSUN supports CBSMUN with delegate preparation, academy training, and volunteer recruitment.
CBSMUN provides CBSUN members with conference experience, networking, and opportunities to join the conference team.
Together, CBSUN and CBSMUN form the core of Model United Nations at CBS: CBSUN builds the community and skills year-round, while CBSMUN brings it all to life on the international stage.
